Lovely, catching and adventurous novel.

This romance is sweet and with a suspense twist that gives the story line an highly interesting turn. It grabs the reader's attention since the first pages and keeps a good pace throughout the whole story.

The protagonists are adorable together, there is a hooot chemistry between them and I was captivated indeed! The hero is what you would expect from a duke but is also somewhat new, his personal growth and "maturation" after his fiancée's death are the aspects which made me like him, but the strong point in this romance is the heroine, she's the cornerstone; now I must admit that I do have a favourite kind of heroine although I don't mind the opposite as well, here Sara is what I generally love in an heroine, she's not the apparently outstanding character, she's calm, introverted, sometime way to shy, introspective, smart and empathic. I did love her and I loved her interactions with Ross, the hero.

The other characters are worth to be mentioned as well, the author did a great job with them, they are highly supportive in the story, they are interesting as well and they definitely enrich the relationships and the story itself.

Buona lettura!
