Il Profumo delle Pergamene officially has “The liberated wife fever”.

I warmly suggested Seatbacks and tray tables to my dear friends, and this blog co-authors, so I could share my exasperating wait for Miami nice release date (and for the record they enjoyed the prequel as much as I did); about that, with a bit of embarrassment, I must say that yesterday, convinced that it was the 1^st of August, with J.J.P. we were looking for Miami nice on Amazon and when we realised that instead was the 31^st of July (congratulations! We lost one day…), besides the realisation of our premature dotage, we also felt quite the distress thinking about another day of  delay; that’s just to let you know where we are…

Ah, anyway it’s too short…I’m suffering, like “nooo, it’s already finished :( ", how am I supposed to peacefully wait to know what will happen to Taylor, Christopher and Jim (and I think I could speak in J.J.P.’s name too)?!

Il profumo delle pergamene ha ufficialmente la "febbre di The Liberated Wife".

Dopo aver suggerito caldamente alla mie care amiche, nonché co-autrici di questo blog, di leggere Seatbacks and tray tables (e per la cronaca sono state altrettanto entusiaste per la bella scoperta) ho felicemente condiviso la mia snervante attesa per l'uscita di Miami nice; peraltro, con un po' di imbarazzo, devo dire che ieri, io e  J.J.P., convinte che fosse il primo agosto, ci siamo trovate su amazon per comprare il racconto e nell'accorgerci che in effetti era il trentuno luglio (c'eravamo perse un giorno...) oltre a farci sentire idiote per la realizzazione, abbiamo anche provato un moto nervoso per dover attendere altre ventiquattro ore...(in realtà quella parecchio convinta era J.J.P....mi sgriderà per averlo detto), per farvi capire l'incaglio...

Ah, comunque è troppo breve...io soffro, della serie "no, cavolo non può essere già finito :( ", come caspita faccio ad aspettare altro tempo indeterminato per sapere cosa succede a Taylor, Christopher e Jim (e credo di poter parlare anche a nome di J.J.P.)?!

I don't know the genre that well but I've read something and, I must say, I truly enjoyed this one; being a short story, it would have been less easy to make some mistakes, especially comparing to novels, but then this is a prequel and it looks really promising.

I liked the characters a lot, their problems and their lives, Taylor and Christopher's encounter and the story finale.

Taylor Ansley is a beautiful forty-year-old woman, she has a successful blog about interior design and she is married to a charming and youthful man who says to be in love with her; unfortunately, beside what Jim affirms, he cheated on her and intends to do it again but this time he wants his wife's blessing;

Non ho una gran conoscenza del genere ma qualcosa ho letto e questo devo dire che mi è piaciuto molto, va bene che è un racconto breve e che quindi la possibilità di "sbagliare" si riduce di molto rispetto ad un romanzo, ma devo dire che essendo un prequel promette molto bene per il futuro.

Mi sono piaciuti molto i soggetti, i loro problemi e le loro vite, l'incontro tra Taylor e Christopher e la chiusura del racconto.


Taylor Ansley è una bella donna di quarant'anni, ha un blog di successo che si occupa di arredamento ed è sposata con un uomo affascinante e giovanile che dice di amarla; purtroppo però, nonostante quello che Jim afferma, l'ha già tradita in passato e sembrerebbe avere tutte le intenzioni di rifarlo, ma questa volta vuole il benestare della moglie;
