What a sweet and touching novel. Somewhat of “The Beauty and
the Beast” style…or at least that’s the impression I had, because to be fair
the hero here is not disfigured or “monstrous”, but undoubtedly he has,
especially at the beginning, quite the brusque and misanthropic attitude.
